Cambodia

Tropical, steaming hot, mysterious Cambodia. I came for the famous Khmer temples - including Angkor Wat - but it was the capital, Phnom Penh, that I enjoyed the most. During the day sometimes it was almost too hot to walk around, but the city came alive in the evenings and at night.

I didn't have the easiest time in Cambodia - my passport, which also contained my visa, slipped out of my pocket in a taxi. It took two visits to a police station, two meetings with the British embassy, and three visits to the Cambodian Immigration Department to resolve, so that I could continue my journey! But looking back at the photos I was able to take over those six days, I feel proud of them, and lucky that I was able to visit.
